  Dear Dr. Badia, Based on the arthroscopy I received last year at your center, I am writing to express my gratefulness for the service you and your staff provided me during my whole surgery process. I am aware your organization demands high quality customer service and efficient coordination for the clients, and I hope this positive feedback reinforces the culture and values of your company. In this e-mail I will include my experience at the center, as well as the high standards and service I felt the staff provided me during my stay. Before and after my arthroscopy, your international coordinator Ms. Iglesias did an outstanding job. She oversaw my case and coordinately all my meetings effectively as soon as possible, and relayed the necessary information I needed. In addition, her kindness made me and my dad feel she enjoyed her work since she was always open to help us with any inconvenience we had. I remember we had scheduled the arthroscopy for the day Hurricane Matthew was going to hit the city, so it got cancelled and rescheduled days later. Since my father had to change our flight, she quickly wrote a letter explaining the issue to the airlines for them to enable my father to change the flight. Some medical institutions are able to provide this service, but usually they take a lot of time due to the high patient demand. Ms. Iglesias job performance surprised me and my father. I also attribute this excellent service to the staff at the front desk and the pre-surgery process analysis the doctors provided, which included an x-ray and general tests. Sometimes in medicine they manage complex terms which you are only familiar in your native language, so the doctors were speaking Spanish (my native language) to me and my father which facilitated my understanding about my medical condition. On the other hand, my father wanted to ask for financial aid in Peru, and the front desk staff provided him all the necessary information to apply for the grant. It might not seem this details made much of a difference, but the combination of them plus the approach all the personnel had when performing services made my experience at the center insightful and fulfilling. It is clear you have organized a culture with a set of values and skills that characterize the “Badia Hand to Shoulder Center”. I believe the staff should treat every patient as I was treated, and I encourage you to keep promoting this high standards of customer service to them. Congratulations, Juan Jose Rosas
